Future Disco: Top Picks 2023

Future Disco are passionate about providing you with the freshest dance music. After a hugely successful 2022 where we hosted a number of parties, released a heap of great music and signed some really exciting artists, we now look to 2023 to carry on delivering the best in Nu-Disco and more.

2023 promises to be a big year for Future Disco with the likes of Supertaste, 1-800 Girls and Carlita all releasing – here’s a look at our top picks for this year

Lulah Francs

She DJs, sings and will no doubt be producing before long. After a stellar performance at our Future Disco party last year, spins on Radio 1 and a plethora of festivals under belt, she is definitely one to watch.

Supertaste

This rising New York based band has that rare ability to sit somewhere between the dancefloor and bar. In the same camp as Jungle, Leisure and Franc Moody, we are very excited about Supertaste.

Boys Be KKO

We featured Boys Be KKO on Volume 14 of the Future Disco series and he continues to drop emotional and engaging house music that speaks to the soul, direct from Japan.

Sofia Kourtesis

Having delivered stand out remixes and releases in 2022 whilst developing a fully formed live act, 2023 should be Sofia’s year to become an artist that reaches more people than ever. Having performed globally, Sofia is well versed in the DJing world and this year should see things get bigger and better.

Carlita

Globetrotting with her DJ sets from Burning Man to Tokyo, Carlita’s music is starting to shine. Her recent release, Bon Trip, demonstrated her sweet spot of sound somewhere between house and disco and we can’t get enough of it.

1-800 girls

There’s a certain soundscape feeling to 1-800 Girls music – always on point and emotive. They’ve steadily been winning fans from across the musical universe but 2023 feels like the year their music can really come to the forefront.

Phillippa

Though a long term DJ, relatively new to producing, Philippa has a soulful touch with a Disco based soundtrack. Her EP on Freerange in 2022 was all gold so expect great things in 2023.

Eden Burns

Choir Song was one of our favourite house records of 2022 and Eden Burns, from the Public Possession camp, is a super talent. With acres of ideas and killer production to match, 2023 is where he should shine. He has gained support from Discogs sharks, Solomun, Jennifer Cardini, Jamie Tiller, Huge DJ Party Alerts, Gerd Janson and more.

We are excited for Future Disco in 2023.
