Future Disco: Poolside Sounds Vol. 10 (Sean Brosnan’s Selections)

The original Poolside compilation returns with another collection of the very best in laidback house and daytime disco, skillfully curated by Future Disco founder and house music aficionado, Sean Brosnan. Below he has selected his favourite tracks from the album…

Midnight Sky
“This is exclusively released on the poolside sounds album with the single coming later in the summer. It’s a beautiful piece of electronic house music. The duo are from the US and it has a feeling of Italians Do It Better, we are very happy to have them as part of the Future Disco family and expect some great music from them in the moving months.”

Bad Business Club – Flip Me Over
“I loved this track as soon as I heard it but also just wanted to rearrange it to make it perfect for the pool. Luckily this excellent band let me loose and included here is a Future Disco edit of what simply sounds like summer to me, somewhere between Balearic, disco and house.”

“We’ve been working with Bondax over the past year or so to introduce what is brilliant produced Disco music. They have so many great songs that have pop appeal but also just sound perfect for when the sun’s out. This for me is their strongest single to date featuring the wonderful Shells on vocals, who have worked on some killer house tracks of late. Look out for the Never Dull remix also dropping.”

Perry Farrell – Shekina Groove
“This Groove Armada remix has some kind of 80’s synth feel that hooks me in each time. Same time it sounds completely wide and emotional. I’m always a sucker for anything that feels quite emotional and they have titled this Terrace 200 remix, which about sums up the mellium when house music had an emotional feel and is constantly a big influence for me, especially when played in the open air.”

Amy Dabbs – girl Like ME
“I picked this one as Any Dabbs feels like an artist who is going places. This is simple but effective house music that just keeps the vibes moving and could be at home at 4pm or 4am.”
