100th Future Disco Radio Show Special

To celebrate our 100th Future Disco Radio Show, we’ve delved back into the archives and dug out some of our favourites. You can expect eclectic sounds across the house and disco spectrum curated by rising stars and established icons.

Here are our top 5:

1. Tilman

DJ, producer, and label owner, Tilman, joined us all the way from Mainz, Germany for this very special 60th episode. He served up a 30 minute eclectic mix of house and disco to get us through the midweek!
You can expect to hear his remix of Ridney’s ‘Constantly’ being released on Future Disco on the 3rd September – pre-save HERE.

2. Dave Lee

We welcomed one of dance music’s most notorious and longstanding figures, Dave Lee, who under a plethora of different monikers has released iconic disco-fied edits for almost three decades.

A pioneer from the very beginning of his career in 1988, Dave Lee was one of the first to sample disco within house music, paving the way for his peers. He has produced and remixed for some of the world’s greatest stars including Bob Marley, Diana Ross, Grace Jones, Lionel Ritchie, and Mariah Carey.

Continuing to release incredible music and seamless mixes, Dave Lee is one of few artists to keep disco’s dazzling spirit alive.

3. Dance Club Special

In this extra special episode, we celebrated the launch of Dance Club, the 14th edition of Future Disco’s iconic compilation series.

Dance Club is an embodiment and celebration of dancing, unity, and togetherness, featuring 18 carefully curated tracks from established & emerging producers.

The man behind the album, Sean Brosnan, weaves in and out of Dance Club gems from the likes of Gerd Janson, Tommy Farrow, and Ekkah.

4. Maxi Meraki

Our 73rd episode saw us being joined by DJ and Producer, Maxi Meraki, who’s making waves in the house and disco scene with his colourful flair.

His groove-fuelled discography has been seen support from the likes of Mark Knight and Roger Sanchez, as well as releasing on 72 Pixels, his own imprint, Meraki records, and of course, Future Disco. His latest EP, ‘To The Top’ shows the Belgian DJ on the highest form.

Maxi Meraki’s equally impressive DJ sets have graced top clubs across Ibiza, Marbella, and Barcelona.

Meraki released his debut EP on Future Disco earlier this year, ‘To The Top’, and recently released his club-ready single, ‘The Way’, which will no doubt be soundtracking many a club in 2021. You can listen to ‘The Way’ HERE.

5. Satin Jackets

Our hugely popular episode featured a guest mix by German DJ and producer, Satin Jackets. In 2012 he broke through with his single ‘You Make Me Feel Good’ quickly establishing him in the thriving Nu-disco scene. Mixing balearic house with relaxed disco grooves, we’re thrilled to have had him on the show with us, giving us a flavour of what he gets down to.
